Rapid HIV Testing
Tri-State offers Rapid HIV Testing in the office, at health fairs, bars, night clubs and even under shade trees. Our team is dedicated to doing what it takes to reach out to the community to provide HIV testing. Tri-State uses technology that provides HIV results in less than 30 minutes. The device tests for the presence of HIV antibodies in the blood. The process requires a simple finger prick and can be conducted away from traditional medical settings. HIV positive result is considered preliminary and must be followed up with confirmatory testing. Tri-State refers to the local health department to perform confirmatory testing. Confirmatory HIV test results are usually available 5-7 business days from the date of testing. A photo ID is required to pick up confirmatory HIV results.
